The International Pairs World Final is the pinnacle of one of the world’s most established amateur golf competitions. Hosted annually at a prestigious international destination, the World Final brings together pairs from more than 30 countries to compete on world-class courses while enjoying exceptional hospitality and a truly global golf experience.
Participants selected to represent South Africa will compete in official practice and tournament rounds at the International Pairs World Final, alongside amateur golfers from across the globe — experiencing the prestige, camaraderie, and excitement of international competition on a world stage.

HOW TO QUALIFY
International Pairs Licensees in over 29 countries host qualifiers throughout the season, those that qualify will get invited to play at the national final in their country to battle it out for a spot at the International Pairs World Final and a chance of becoming the next World Champions.
In 2026, South Africa will send one pair to the World Final through the Official South Africa World Final Draw, giving two amateur golfers the opportunity to compete internationally, experience world-class hospitality, and wear the South African badge with pride.
ABOUT THE WORLD FINAL
The International Pairs World Final is played as a Better Ball Stableford 2-person team format over 2 days of 18 Holes per day. (36 Holes total).
There is always an official practice round the day before the first tournament round.

Direct entry is available in the Mixed Pairs and Women’s Open Championship for players that do not have Women’s or Mixed Pairs events in their countries.
