In 2024, International Pairs South Africa proudly unveils a new chapter under the dynamic sponsorship of Standard Bank Private, following the successful conclusion of Windhoek Lager’s sponsorship in 2023.

Tournament Dynamics:

• Presenting a three-stage tournament format, participants begin their journey by qualifying at their respective home clubs. Successful qualifiers then advance to the regional finals, followed by the prestigious South African finals. Notably, all expenses for these stages are covered, providing competitors with an opportunity to vie for a coveted spot in the International Pairs World Final held in Europe.
• A nominal entry fee of R100 per player per event, payable directly to the club. Each players receives a 2-ball sleeve golf balls upon entry and entry into exclusive monthly giveaways upon registration.
• Eligibility for International Pairs South Africa Club Qualifying events is open to members with an official handicap index.
• All qualifiers, regional finals, and South African final is played in a 2-person pair better ball format.

An Inclusive Journey:

• Open to golfers aged 18 years or older, affiliated members of a SAGA/GOLFRSA affiliated Golf Club, equipped with an official handicap index.
• The SA Final replicates a professional Tournament, settling ties through a play-off whenever possible.

Charting the Path to Representing South Africa:

• The culmination sees two pairs of ordinary amateur club golfers and one pair of ladies proudly representing South Africa at the World Finals.
• Entrants are required to pay a nominal once-off entry fee of R100 at their respective clubs. The added incentive is that qualifying for subsequent stages comes with the valuable perk of having all expenses covered at the regional finals, South African 3 day final, and the World Final.
