Organizers will verify the “LOW HI” index (over the past 365 days) for all players. Players will play off their lowest handicap index achieved during this period, up to and including the morning of the 1st round. It is the player’s responsibility to ensure they play off the correct handicap. The organizers do not take responsibility for incorrect information in this regard.

if two or more teams finish with the same score, the following will occur:

• A hole-by-hole sudden-death playoff, weather and light permitting.
• Alternatively a count out procedure if a play-off cannot be played.
• If adverse weather conditions or other factors prevent the completion of the event or any playoff, the winners will be decided by:
  1. The leaders after 27 holes.
  2. If fewer than 27 holes are completed, the leaders after the completed round will be declared the winners.
  3. In the event of a tie not resolved by the above methods, the winners will be decided by the toss of a coin or by drawing lots if more than two teams are involved.

two pairs from the open qualifiers, one mixed pair, and one women’s pair will earn their place at the International Pairs World Final at Sun City Resort, taking place from 6 – 10 October 2025.

Registration is open from 11:00 – 17:30 on Wednesday, 3 September 2025, at Selborne Hotel.

Hotel check-in begins at 14:00 on Wednesday, 3 September 2025.

All meals, are included from Wednesday evening 3 September until breakfast on 6 September, and will be served at Selborne Hotel.

Practice rounds are available on Wednesday, 3 September. Booking of practice rounds on Wednesday 3 September are not necessary. 

Note that practice rounds are for your own expense.

Wear the kit received at registration during both rounds for camera and TV purposes.

Yes, players will have to open a round o the HNA (Handicap Network Africa) app and enter their score after each round, and ensure it is done within 24 hours to avoid disqualification.

All players will be required to have the Golf Genius app on their mobile ready to use for scoring, 1 person per 4-ball, 2 scorecards are still required per 4-ball. (this is the same app used at regionals) download on google play store or Apple App Store.

As you exit the baggage claim area, look out for the person holding the sign with a Standard Bank Private and International Pairs logo on when exiting to the arrival hall.

Yes, golf carts are available at the Selborne Pro Shop at your own expense. No need to book

Look for the person holding the Standard Bank Private International Pairs sign at the arrival hall. You will be taken directly to the golf club for registration.

You can leave your luggage at the hotel reception before check in opens if you wish to play a practice round. Ensure all belongings are clearly marked and identifiable.

Please note the driving range is not part of Selborne and is for players own account. The range is located across the estate (5min drive) – Selborne will provide shuttles on Thursday and Friday to the driving range in the morning from 8:30am-11:00am. Please be conscious of time and ensure you take a shuttle back to the course atleast 30min prior to tee time.

Players will be allowed to select their tee box color should they wish and their playing handicap will adjust accordingly. The change of tee box must be communicated to tournament organisers before teeing off. You are allowed to change tee box for day 1 and day 2.
